All members are welcome to join us for a Classic Road Run on July 7th. Any Land Rover which you consider to be a “Classic” will be suitable as long as it is roadworthy and complies with all the normal requirements for Road Tax and MoT.
Depending upon numbers we will be splitting in to groups if required, (providing we have Group Leaders available).
The run will start at 10:00am and we will meet near Chelmsford. You will be advised of the starting point after you have confirmed your booking. We will be driving a route of 40 to 50 miles through the Essex country lanes, with stops along the way for photos and facilities.
We will end our run at Earls Colne, one of the bases for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance. Whilst there, we will have a tour of the facilities and present a Club cheque to EHAAT, our chosen charity. You will hopefully have the chance to see the helicopter (operations allowing).
You will be free to make your own way back home afterwards.
(Please note: This trip is limited to 10 vehicles as we are restricted in the group size for the tour).
