LRO / Land Rover Owner International Show 2022

The LRO Peterborough Show is the biggest Land Rover celebration of the year

The campsite gates will be open for arrivals from 12noon – 8pm on Friday and 7am – 9am on Saturday. You must leave the campsite by 12 noon on Monday

Q: What are the show opening hours?

Saturday: 9am – 5:30pm (Evening show in LRO Live Action Arena from 6:45pm – 7:45pm)

Sunday: 9am – 5pm

Last show entry: 4pm

Q: Is car parking free?

Yes and there is also a special Land Rover only car parking area. These will all be clearly signed posted as you enter the showground.

Q: Is there disabled parking?

Yes there is. Please show your blue badge on arrival to the showground to gain access to this designated area. Bookings cannot be made in advance.

Q: Is there mobility hire at this event?

Unfortunately not. We ask that you consider making advance arrangements for yourself at this event.

Q: Are children free?

Yes if the child is under 5 years at the time of the event and is accompanied by a paying adult.

Q: Are there any concessions?

There are not.

Q: How many people does a Multi Camping Pitch (Family) camping ticket include?

2 Adults & 2 Children (5 – 15 years). Children aged 4 and under go for free.

Families can purchase an additional child’s ticket if they have more than 2 children attending aged 5-15.

Please be aware that the pitch size for a Multi Camping (Family) ticket is typically 8×8 metres.

Q: What is the refund policy?

We offer Refund Protection when purchasing your tickets. This is an additional service and totally optional. It is a promise that we will make a refund to you in certain limited circumstances for the payment of an additional fee in addition to your booking fee. This means that visitors can apply for a refund if they are unable to attend due to accidents or unexpected illnesses including Covid-19 or specified unforeseen circumstances. Q: What is the Covid-19 policy for attending this event?

Following the relaxation of COVID-19 measures we recommend visitors take a lateral flow test before attending the show. Visitors who test positive for COVID-19 should follow advice regarding self-isolation and not attend the event.

In all incidences we are unable to administer refunds if you do not have Refund Protection and cannot provide suitable documentary evidence.

Q: Is there a camping area just for families?

Yes, we’ve cornered off a special section of the campsite this year especially for those with families. The area is capped at 80 pitches and places will be given on a first come, first served basis. When you arrive, simply ask the marshalls on the gate to direct you to the Family Camping Zone

Q: What are the camp site opening times?

The campsite gates will be open for arrivals from 12noon – 8pm on Friday and 7am – 9am on Saturday. You must leave the campsite by 12 noon on Monday

Q: Is there an electric hook-up for caravans on the campsite?

We are reassessing electric hook-ups for the LRO 2022 Show and will update this page when we know more. Diesel and LPG Gas generators are allowed.

Q: Is there a show programme?

There will be a show map listing all of our fantastic exhibitors, giving details of what’s happening when in the LRO Live Action Arena and includes details of the off-road course. Maps will be distributed from the ticket booths at the visitor entrance, and from the LRO magazine stand.

Q: Are there crèche facilities?

There are not.

Q: What is the Medical/First Aid procedure?

Please advise an onsite steward of any incident. The First Aid area is located in the medical room underneath the Grandstand.

Q: Are dogs allowed?

Yes, but please can they be kept on a lead at all times.

Q: Where are the nearest toilets?

There are numerous toilet blocks located around the showground and these will be highlighted on the signs or ask a steward situated around the site to help respond to any queries you may have.

Q: Where is the showground? 

The East of England Showground is easily accessible to visitors travelling by car, public transport and train. The showground’s full address is:

East of England Showground, Oundle Road, Peterborough. PE2 6XE

Q: Is there a cash machine on site?

No – there is no longer a cash machine on this site.

Q: Where is the nearest shop/centre?

There is a convenience store under the grandstand at the show. Alternatively there is a 24hr Tesco and shopping outlet at Serpentine Green, Hampton, Peterborough PE7 8BE.

Q: Can I take pictures/video at the event?

Yes and we’d be delighted to receive them too! Share them with LRO on our Facebook page, Twitter or YouTube.

Q: Where is the off-road course?

Tixover is an old quarry located just of the A47, close to Duddington where the A43 and A47 cross. The site is mainly sand, with some very deep sections of water and a lake. Approx. one third of the site is known as the “Clay Pit”, very sticky and should only be attempted by suitable vehicles! Access is via a short section of unpaved road o the A47, please avoid going through Tixover Grange due to the residents.
Facilities include: Car park (sand/stone), burger van. Closest petrol station and shop is Morcott (3 mile east) or Wansford (8 mile west, 24hr)
