Help to run Trial events 2019

Hi All

We are always looking for members to assist in running trial events, either by marshalling on the day or helping to set out the previous day. Experience is not necessary as we will pair you up with someone who knows what is required to guide you. If you want to help out please contact the Comp Sec or have at chat at one of the Trial events.

Classic Road Run

The first of a new type of event was held on Sunday 12th August. A group of club members met at The Hare for a Classic Road Run.

A good day was had by all visiting some local attractions including Priors Hall Barn at Widdington. Read all about it in the next edition of Exploits.

Mike receives Outstanding Contribution Award

Mike Rowland was awarded the annual award for Outstanding Contribution at the AGM but wasn’t able to be there to collect it.

Rover Rescue and Charity Support co-ordinator Nigel Wood presented the award at the recent Race for Life event at Epping.

Nigel thanked Mike for all his hard work on call out during the winter snow and his support of the Race for Life events.

AGM was very Sociable

Before and after the business of the AGM members found time to chat, buy raffle tickets and to look over the club clothing available to purchase on the day.

After the Fish and Chip supper the Trophy Presentations and Drawing of the Raffle proved very absorbing. The SID trophy nominations were as always very entertaining and met with some lighthearted heckling.

Its was good to see members with interests across the different sections of the club coming together for the evening.
