From Graham @ Southern
As you are aware, the Essex Land Rover Club have kindly volunteered to set out the RTV trial at the next ALRC National Rally. In recognition of this Charles Darby, the event director, together with the Southern Rover Owners’ Club would like to invite members of the ELRC to an RTV trial being held on Saturday 12th June 2021 at Bilsington, near Ashford, Kent. The venue is approximately one hour from the Dartford crossing.
Although not actually using the ground reserved for the 2022 ALRC National, the trial will be held on an adjacent part of the Bilsington Priory Estate and should provide an indication as to the ground conditions that may be experienced in twelve months’ time. Eight sections will be run over a new area that has never been used for any form of motor sport before. This should allow time, after the trial, for any Essex members to then visit the proposed National trials area guided by Charles Darby before heading home. Camping is available on site over the weekend from Friday to Monday if anyone wishes to make a weekend of it. Not to be left out, CCV drivers will also be most welcome to compete on Sunday 13th June.
Entries for this trial should be made via the SROC website. Event Entry can be found under the SROC events heading. Entries close strictly 9pm Wednesday 2nd June. Don’t want to drive your trialler? Then why not visit us and marshal instead? For further information contact Graham Bridgland, firstname.lastname@example.org.
