THIS EVENT IS ON – SO BOOK IN NOW ONLINE BOOKING – Enjoy some post lock down fun!
All members are welcomed to attend to take part as driver or passenger or be a marshal or to spectate, so come along and enjoy a special day of landrovers in action, during the day and at night. A friendly welcome to all….
Site name: Sudbury
Tyro, RTV and CCV all on Saturday 5th December, meeting opens at 10.30 and the competition starts at Midday for the day light section and re starts circa 3.30 – 4pm for the night time driving part and finishes circa 7.30pm
Setting out for the trial is on Saturday 5th December starting at 8.30am, so if you want to come along and help, please arrive early. Guidance to all is provided…
How the event runs – same rules as any trial with a later start time and we will run a number of sections in the daylight and take a short break for refreshment until it gets dark and run a number of sections (with no changes) in the dark which adds a completely different driving dimension
Each vehicle can have two extra driving lights at the front and the top of these must be below the top of the bulk head / bottom of the windscreen. LED lights are okay, but not light bars that use multiple lights, which are deemed not in the spirit of the event. The additional lights can only be switched on when on the start line, so not to blind everyone!
Additional rear facing reversing lights are at the driver’s choice, however these cannot be on when competing on a section, unless taking a shunt.
Location: Approximately half way between Halstead and Sudbury, in a part wooded site. If you haven’t been here before, please ask for directions; see below. We will be using the new car parking area and the entrance will be marked.
