Rover Rescue

Rover Rescue is a group of volunteers who could be called upon in times of emergency or disaster.

Members who offer their help are not committed, they have simply indicated that they are approachable for call outs.

The most likely use of our group would be for transport, possibly in adverse weather conditions, although we might be asked to do any number of tasks working alongside the blue light services and other volunteer groups.

Many of the volunteers hold first aid certificates and we have a varied skills base including recovery and rescue work. We get our call out request from the County Emergency Planning Department at Chelmsford and we can be required at any time, day or night.

If you would like to volunteer your services or require more information you can contact our Rover Rescue co-ordinator. Details on the Contacts page.
