Vehicle Classes
There are a wide variety of Land Rover vehicle types, e.g. Range Rovers, SWB
Land Rovers, 101 Forward Control etc. In order to try and make competitions
fair to all, the various types are designated into Classes, so that for
instance, a Defender 90 is not competing directly with a 80".
The Classes are split into two major divisions for Trials and Competitive
Safaris respectively and within these there are two sub divisions for Standard
and Modified vehicles.
All vehicles used for CCV Trials, Competitive Safari, Team Recovery, Timed
Trials and Point to Point must have an ARC Competition Vehicle Log Book. For more information please contact the Club Scrutineers.

Notes
a) The Defender range of vehicles are directly equivalent to the Ninety/90, One
Ten/110, & 127/130/One Thirty range.
b) Standard production vehicles from Land Rover Ltd built after January 1st
1993 which do not have a competition class listed above are to be allowed to
compete in the class which nearest fits their specification..
